Information, such as IP address, and ISP, collected
by a certain website can be used to cause potential
security risks. Anybody can use your IP address to
cause malicious harm to your computer.

The
information on your computer should belong only to
you & in order to maintain its privacy you need to
keep the IP address hidden so that all information
will become unknown to all hackers as well as
websites that track the number of your visits &
collect information every time.
Therefore hiding IP address using hide my IP address as a
proxy software will disable such
parties to detect your identity & penetrate your
privacy online because information available to them
is totally different from what you have so no
traceable evidence will be left behind.

you the ability to mask your IP address through the
hide my IP address proxy server, plus connecting through
several other proxy servers to build a proxy server

hide
my IP address
stands between internet clients and the servers they
are trying to connect to. Hence, it helps to use the
Internet safely and anonymously without revealing
your personal information. This is achieved by
retrieving the requested page through a proxy server
rather than the real server. The proxy server
mask IP or
change
IP of the user's IP address by using its own
IP address instead
anonymous
internet surfing
software. For example:
when you request a web page,
hide my IP address as a proxy tool
communicates with a proxy server to get the required page, filters off
all undesired and harmful content and allows you to view the page.
Protection and anonymity reside in the fact that you don’t actually view
the page on the server that has the web page you requested. It is rather
loaded to a proxy server of your choice and viewed from there.

Transparent proxy
- A transparent proxy announces to the world that
it's a proxy, and passes on your information. It
provides no privacy improvements.
*
Anonymous proxy
- An anonymous proxy offers the caching benefits of
a transparent proxy, while hiding your IP address
(by replacing with either the proxies IP, or a
random address. The downside to this approach is
that sites that use address detection to establish
unique users (online games, voting, some logins)
will not be able to distinguish you from others in
your domain. Of course, that might be a bonus
sometimes.
*
Elite proxy
- A highly anonymous (often known as an elite proxy)
makes your system look the same as a non-proxy
system (with the proxy servers IP address). This
provides the best security. There's no way to detect
an elite proxy.

A
proxy server
is a kind of buffer between your computer and the
Internet resources you're accessing. The data you
request come to the proxy first, and only then it
transmits the data to you.
A proxy server receives a request for an Internet
service (such as a Web page request) from a user. If
it passes filtering requirements, the proxy server,
assuming it is also a cache server, looks in its
local cache of previously downloaded Web pages. If
it finds the page, it returns it to the user without
needing to forward the request to the Internet. If
the page is not in the cache, the proxy server,
acting as a client on behalf of the user, uses one
of its own IP addresses to request the page from the
server out on the Internet. When the page is
returned, the proxy server relates it to the
original request and forwards it on to the user
anonymous web surfing
software.
To the user, the proxy server is invisible; all
Internet requests and returned responses appear to
be directly communicated with the addressed Internet
server. (The proxy is not quite invisible; its IP
address has to be specified as a configuration
option to the browser or other protocol program).

Transfer speed improvement:
Proxy
servers accumulate and save files that are most
often requested by thousands of Internet users in a
special database, called “cache”. Therefore, proxy
servers are able to increase the speed of your
connection to the Internet. The cache of a proxy
server may already contain information you need by
the time of your request, making it possible for the
proxy to deliver it immediately.
Security and privacy:
Anonymous proxy servers hide your
IP address,
thereby saving you from vulnerabilities concerned
with it.
Sometimes you may encounter problems while accessing
a web server when server administrators restrict
access from your IP or even from a wide IP range
(for example restricting access from certain
countries or geographical regions). So you try to
access those pages using an anonymous proxy server.

of public HTTP proxy servers. It usually provides a
small list of proxies with low percent of
functioning servers due to hosting restrictions on

12-Can I Send Anonymous Email
using a proxy server ? |
|
Yes.
As long as you are connected to the Hot Mail server
through an Anonymous Proxy Server, your IP address
is hidden, and all e-mail that you send with the
web-forms on the Hot Mail server has no track of
your true location (Send Anonymous Email). It is so
for all web-based email services, like mail.com, as
well as for web-based chat boards like Yahoo! Chat.
There is a possible trap, however: many of such
services use a secure connection when you send email
or when you logon to your account. Therefore it is
very important to make sure that your proxy supports
HTTPS.
